Refreshing Cucumber Blast Shake

As the heat hit it’s peak, it’s goo to replenish our thirst with a refreshing and health drink. Try out this cucumber and pear rink recipe. Check out the article we found at India Times.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Makes 1 serving

Ingredients
• 1 cup chopped cucumber
• 1 cup chopped pear
• 1/2 cup basil or holy basil (tulsi) leaves
• 2 tsp lime juice
• 3 tsp sugar
• Black salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
• Crushed ice as required

Method
• Peel and deseed a cucumber. Cut it into cubes.
• Cut the pear into cubes.
• Put the fruits into the blender. Add the basil leaves, black salt, roasted cumin seed powder, lime juice and crushed ice.
• Pour the juice into a glass and serve.
