My Child Has Toothache- What Can I Do During Quarantine?

With Coronavirus spreading widely in full force, you’re most likely self-quarantined to keep you and your family safe. But what happens if your child have a dental emergency? With most dentists closed during this time, what should you do if your child had too much soda or ate too much candy?

There are many reasons for a toothache, and as adults we are able to identify and look for cure and relief when needed.

For kids, on the other hand, a toothache is simply an incessant pain with no relief in sight. A toothache can seem to come out of nowhere. This happens when erosion or decay penetrates the tooth’s pulp chamber, which contains nerves and mini blood vessels that are very sensitive.
