Ellen Patten Visser It doesnt matter if the dairy is organic, the cow was still forcibly impregnated and had her baby STOLEN from her!!! It is very BAD! And highly inhumane and unethical! Organic grass-fed meat is also bad because the animal went thru a traumatic slaughter that released a ton of adrenaline and other stress hormones that GO INTO your body when you eat it. Plus, meat is highly carcinogenic to humans, especially when cooked. Good on you for no drugs. 70 is still young tho. Powered by plant foods will get you past 100 easily. So good luck;)

  5. Breanna McKay I stand behind Genesis 9:3. Your quoting of other verses that includes other foods does not make Genesis 9:3 void. 😉

I guess this recipe would be good for beginners with no allergies. Thanks for posting to encourage people to cook! Love all the garlic in it! That’s great. You could leave out the dairy (not recommended for anyone with a cold anyway) and substitute the bread with a good quality brown rice. For those who are more adventurous, I’d suggest getting a whole organic chicken and making your own broth. It takes time but so worth it!

Breanna McKay your thoughts are flawed. We are omnivores and meat is healthy for us. Dairy even I worry about but meat gives you protein and iron and there are healthy meats out there. You need to also keep in mind that if your a vegan and not eating only organic your veggies and fruits could also be causing the same diseases that you claim meat and dairy cause. Last I checked all the fertilizers and herbicides and pesticides are that terrific either.

the pic of this soup makes no sense. It’s a clear broth with no sign of any of the green herbs it’s speaks of in the recipe and I don’t see one onion floating around in it nor do I see any signs of what i think would look like any kind of dairy. Or garlic

Breanna McKay I repeat: You are one of the rudest most self righteous and judgmental people I’ve ever encountered on the Internet. Get over yourself. I don’t want to be saved from being an omnivore, the way I was made and the way I intend to stay. I eat meat, fish, eggs, and dairy, and if I find I can no longer find people who will humanely raise and sell me those products, I will do it myself, just as I do when I fish. Go find someone who wants to be “saved” because I don’t.

It seems anymore everyone wants CREAMY or creamed or cheesed. I’m sorry you guys but healthy is almost plain. Fresh vegetables. Use chicken broth or beef broth, but for crying out loud make it yourself ! No canned broth. Spices & flavoring as you choose. That’s healthy !!!!
