Would an aspartame by any other name not carry a Phenylketonuria warning?

I read every ingredient every time, force of habit, and I have never seen aminosweet in any product, ever. I live in Michigan and granted, I don’t look at much processed food, but I occasionally eat it, and therefore check every time. I heard about this years and years ago and have yet to see it on a shelf.

I like to take risks…apparently so does my diabetic mom. Both been using & baking with Splenda for about 20 years. Yay fake sugar! I’ve not yet come across a double blind scientific study that proves this stuff is poison! I just bought a new bag full & I’m sipping my sweetened coffee as I type! Mmmmm

I have had many issues with anemia and the absolute best treatment is 30 ml of elemental iron in a liquid form and 1000 MG of vitamin C. Often times anemia is caused from a vit c defiency. You can’t take iron and calcium together as they bind and do not absorb.

If this is true and it probably is… Why is this company trying to kill me? Not to mention everyone else that cannot deal with aspartame in their diets? To call it a natural sweetener is wrong in so many ways… and to call it Aminosweet is wrong too… Beware folks!

It is funny how many people won’t buy something if it is not FDA approved, but if they approve they think it must be ok!

  44. And what makes me mad is that the FDA approves the name change… Changing the name of the poison since most of us know what to look for now … Good grief!
Last week p, I was trying to purchase a certain spice mix and ingredients listed it included this poison in the spices. What! Why!?!? Ugh! Didn’t buy it!
