    It’s also called curcumin. I don’t know if there is any difference between those two. Both are strong antioxidants and anti-imflammatories. Turmeric root looks pretty much as ginger. If there is a store that sells Indian food close to you, you should be able to find it there. Otherwise just use the powder form.
