Dryer sheets are gauze-like tissues that can be put in dryers to eliminate static cling, soften clothes and can also make clothes smell great. Many people use dryer sheets as everyone wants their clothes to smell good and to be as soft as possible after getting it from a dryer. There are several dryer sheets manufacturers that manufactures odorless for consumers with environmental concerns, but recent studies say that dryer sheets are harmful to our health and can cause several diseases, even cause cancer. Toxic shock syndrome is connected to Tampons… I never liked them because of the health risk associated with them… but I also noted they stopped telling folks it can kill them… But go ahead and do what you want to do.

So is fresh and dried mint. We grow it outside and put it under kitchen sink and anywhere else mice may be… also live across street from a farmer’s field. No smell from fabric sheets that way

I use dryer balls and now I see most stores carry them!! Why use chemicals and ask for trouble? They soften clothes, n save on dryer time. No residue on my families clothes/ skin.

Dryer sheets and fabric softener are the WORST. When people say “I’ll take my chances”….it’s because they’re not taking the warning seriously. Take J&J’s baby powder for instance…nobody paid attention to the warnings…until J&J had to pay out over 60 million…and now in a second case, 55 million because their product causes cancer. Do you think people are still saying “I’ll take my chances”? Nope. Not so much.

The wool balls didn’t work for me. I tried making them and I bought some white ones. Neither worked. I get really bad static in the winter because it is so dry here

Yes, I too, read that peppermint sprinkled on cotton balls is supposed to work even better than dryer sheet to repel mice. I will be trying this in our camper.

Get some wool dryer balls they soften and cut down drying time plus less static. Then don’t need dryer sheets, saves money.

Norwex Laundry soap is free of dyes, bleach, soft enters, and other chemicals. Highly recommended for people with sensitive skin. As are the dryer balls. One box of 3 dryer balls is good for 1000 loads.
