Dryer sheets are gauze-like tissues that can be put in dryers to eliminate static cling, soften clothes and can also make clothes smell great. Many people use dryer sheets as everyone wants their clothes to smell good and to be as soft as possible after getting it from a dryer. There are several dryer sheets manufacturers that manufactures odorless for consumers with environmental concerns, but recent studies say that dryer sheets are harmful to our health and can cause several diseases, even cause cancer. Pat Klungtvedt Hanson, I remember hearing about that in the 80s I think. Also, I saw a video recently on YouTube where a guy took the lint screen from a dryer that fabric sheet were used in, ran it under water and you could see the water was just collecting on the surface of the screen instead of passing through.
