Dryer sheets are gauze-like tissues that can be put in dryers to eliminate static cling, soften clothes and can also make clothes smell great. Many people use dryer sheets as everyone wants their clothes to smell good and to be as soft as possible after getting it from a dryer. There are several dryer sheets manufacturers that manufactures odorless for consumers with environmental concerns, but recent studies say that dryer sheets are harmful to our health and can cause several diseases, even cause cancer. On the Next Page learn all about and the chemicals found in dryer sheets.

Your right, there are so many things that cause cancer these days. That’s because everything is filled with chemicals and toxins. From our foods to our everyday products. That’s why the Cleveland Clinic looks like a mall when you go there. But there are ways to go all natural and organic. Just takes a little effort. All for makin my world chemical free!!

My uncle died last year after a long battle with mouth cancer. He lived the healthiest possible life style. Least likely candidate for such a disease, especially in his mouth! No tobacco of any sort. Although I know that on average there is great benefit to living a healthy lifestyle, I know why you said what you said. I am so sorry about your father.

We were using Bounce sheets. I knew and know there bad for us, but my husband insisted because our dryer is older and leaves static and makes everything stick. Recently he bought Kirkland brand from Costco. I have had the biggest rash I have ever had in my life, head to toe. It was so itchy and burning, bleeding… It has been 3 weeks and I still have it, but it’s starting to finally go away. We are just hanging our clothes on line outdoors and much as possible… And going to invest in chemical free products and dryer balls etc…. Has anyone used Norwax before thoughts, opinions for this company?

I never use dryer sheets. I find the odor from them slightly offensive and it makes me sneeze. I also worry about some kind of buildup that may damage my dryer.
