The Microwave is an accidental by-product of war, but now it’s one of the most used devices in the kitchen.  Although it’s convenient, it’s really not worth what it’s actually doing.  Once you understand what it’s all doing to your food and health, you’ll probably think twice about using it.  What you teach your kids to do, is what they will do.  Help teach them the right thing to do here!  Learn all about this on the Next Page.

I trashed my microwave almost 10 years ago. As soon as people find out I don’t have one they have an extra one for me and get strangely offended when I refuse.

I never see the reason for one… I use my oven to warm up. Lately I eat what I cook right away…
So I prepare a fresh meal
    everyday.

Warming Blood in a microwave will kill a patient that receives it. What does that tell you. I won’t use on. Have a little convection oven.

Total bogus, sorry! I’m a huge believer in all holistic an natural, but in science first an foremost. Firstly, microwave doors are one of the most highly regulated and inspected appliance items in your house. The microwave energy is dangerous, yes, but none of that leaves the appliance. So unless you’ve busted a hole in the viewing port, you’re actually exposing yourself to less radiation living with and using a microwave than you would be just eatin one fine, ripe organic banana. Second, heat of any sort leads to the destruction of vitamins and other nutrients in food. The longer the exposure, the more extensive the damage, so foods cooled quickly in the microwave often stand a better chance of retaining nutrients than something baked or grilled for a longer time. Heck, you’re probably also avoiding any charring or browning of the food by microwaving, which actually is carcinogenic. If you’re really concerned about preserving nutrients in food, eat more raw and unprocessed things. That’s the real ticket to health there, you don’t even have to worry about microwaves at all then lol!!!

Put it on a plate, put a bowl in hot water and then place the bowl over the butter. Or put it in the microwave. Because this is complete bullshit.
