Well, it is an old remedy. Many years ago, a very old lady told my mother to take and onion and put it into like a jar of alcohol…drinking alcohol…for about a month and let it sit. After that you would rub the resulting liquid into the scalp every day. My mom tried it and said it worked.

600 years ago wards in hospitals hung onions over doors as they’d attract germs etc .. when I painted a room in high gloss say dark blue I’d cut onions half in each corner / next morning they’d be blue .. IF I feel a cold / sore throat etc coming on I eat a small red one raw .. It absorbs all thats no good .. and fixed in no time .. true ..
