I cook on a slab of this. You taste the flavor of the food and not the salt. We traveled to the mountains of Austria and the salt mines there. We purchase from these mines. Keep in mind our seas are no longer “clean”. Oceans are polluted! The areas that are not are unreachable. Salts from deep within the earth has been unexposed to pollutants, and WAS from the seas millions of years ago. These salt lamps and blocks give off negative ions that make us feel better as well. But that’s a different topic.

Be sure to buy the real deal. A lot of fake stuff is hitting the markets because the demand is growing.

I heard that sea salt is just as bad as table salt. Guess I’ll have to do some more research.
Sabrina Bliss
Feb 16. 2016
Yes, but they actually take the natural stuff out of the table salt and then add the iodine and fluoride. And it’s not the healthy kind.
Sabrina Bliss
Feb 16. 2016
Exactly. And then, after bleaching, they add fluoride and iodine. And it’s not even good for you.

Himalayan crystal salt is far superior to traditional iodized salt. Himalayan salt is millions of years old and pure, untouched by many of the toxins and pollutants that pervade other forms of ocean salt.
Known in the Himalayas as “white gold,” Himalayan Crystal Salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body. This form of salt has also been maturing over the past 250 million years under intense tectonic pressure, creating an environment of zero exposure to toxins and impurities.
Himalayan salt’s unique cellular structure allows it to store vibrational energy. Its minerals exist in a colloidal form, meaning that they are tiny enough for our cells to easily absorb.
