Coughs and colds are a common disease. If left untreated especially in children and the elderly it could turn into something quite harmful! A safe and fast treatment is a must. Check out the article we found at Organic And Healthy.

They are easy to make using just these few ingredients:
  •     Honey
  •     Coconut oil
  •     Napkin
  •     Gauze
  •     Ginger Juice
  •     Flour
  •     Bandage
How to apply:
  1. Combine flour and honey into a paste-like mixture, but try not to touch it. Drizzle in a tiny bit of coconut oil, add the fresh ginger juice to the honey paste and re-roll the honey mixture in flour.
  2. Transfer the resulting mixture onto a napkin, and wrap it using a gauze.
  3. Apply the wrap on your chest or back, and secure with a bandage. You can put on your pajamas and go to bed.
  4. If it is your child that receives the treatment, keep the wrap on its chest for 2-3 hours before bedtime.
Adults can keep the warps on overnight, but should be used for a lesser amount of time on children as it may be uncomfortable for them owing to their skin being more sensitive. If used all night, please be aware that a side effect may be excess sweating.

I am going to try this the next time my kids get a cold 🙂 this is amazing <3 I am so in love with natural remedies. Pretty much everything in my life has gotten better since I started using them. I hate that doctors try and give toxic medications to all of us. All they really care about is making money off of us and it disgusts me. If you have not already started using home medicine, I would seriously suggest reading this story.

Extreme News—This article says it is a honey and ginger wrap. The recipe leaves out the ginger? Who wrote this piece? Either I missed something or…please review the article.

  4. Hi Karen. We have reviewed the article. It looks like “ginger juice” was missed in the ingredient list. It did however clearly state what to do in the instructions. We’ve added the ingredient into the list. 🙂 Thanks for catching this. Have an amazing, healthy day!
