Do Not Microwave Your Food: It Destroys Nutrients, Exposes to Carcinogens & Harmful Radiation!

Everyone knows that the food they eat makes a big impact on their health. The age-old adage, “You are what you eat” is true in every sense.

The key to keeping it healthy is not just about the foods you purchase. The way they are cooked also matters. It will be best to take your food in raw form. However, most people will never be able to just switch to a raw diet. You will always have to cook some of your food.

You should prepare your foods including whole foods which have high quality (especially locally grown or organic foods). It should be prepared from scratch. This especially requires that you should not use your microwave oven.

Your microwave should be used for something like sterilizing a dishcloth. You don’t want to zap the casserole for preparing healthy food.

This no-nukes policy comes from the fact that microwave ovens offer you all the convenience at the cost of your health.

Microwave ovens are so commonly used that you won’t come across an office building or gas station that doesn’t have one. If you ask me, I have a good reason not to use a microwave in my home for more than 25 years. And my office has not had it for over a decade.

You must yourself have suspected its use but never wanted to accept it because of all the convenience it offers. The truth is that microwaves are not good for your food. And they can never be better for your health.

The Cost of Convenience Your Family Has to Pay

The biggest concerns about microwave ovens that you cannot ignore are as following:

1. Microwave radiation leakage

Different microwave ovens release different levels of radiation when used. Do you know that even standing near it can put you at risk? You will be exposed to more than 400 milli-Gauss even if you stand just 1 foot from it. Just 4 milli-Gauss of it has been connected to leukemia.

2. Carcinogenic Toxins

The paper and plastic plates/covers can leach carcinogenic toxins which can get mixed with the food.

3. High Temperatures

Never heat baby bottles in a microwave. They can increase food temperatures to extreme levels, causing burns or steam buildup. This could also cause explosion, especially with baby bottles. Microwaving is also going to adversely affect the disease-fighting powers of breast milk.

4. Loss of Nutrients

When you cook vegetables and foods lose their nutrients (including cancer-fighting nutrients) when you cook them in microwave.

5. Change in Food’s Chemical Structure

When you microwave your food, it changes the chemical structure of your food. This can result in unknown consequences.

You may not find many studies on the affects of microwave on foods. However, the changes are big and quite concerning.

There was a lawsuit in 1991 in which a woman underwent a hip surgery and then died as the blood used for blood transfusion had been warmed in the microwave. It is a normal routine to warm blood before transfusion. However, microwave is not the method used for it. When they used the microwave in this particular case, it changed the blood leading to the woman’s death.

When cooked in microwave, your food’s molecules vibrate at levels they are not meant to. Due to this reason the highly perishable nutrients in your food get damaged. So, even the most nutritious foods cannot nourish your body effectively.

    Check out the European countries who will not aloow one inside their borders because their scientists have tested them 🙁 I have had my own health issues because of eating irradiated food… My specialists concurred…

    My Dr. Has said the same thing about Microwaves. She said it kills too many nutrients. She recommends baking, grilling and steaming foods.
