since childhood I’ve been drinking this boiled ginger tea. The longer you boiled it the more the strong taste comes out and the aroma. We just put a little brown sugar in it. Folks in our remote village prefer this than coffee, the secret of their strong body and long life. That is usually what compose of our breakfast with a piece of bread that we deep on the ginger tea, our simple life in that small village in the Philippines. I still drink it now that I am here in US. I drink it after dinner with a little honey for easy digestion specially with a heavy meal. I like it boiled for abt. 15-25 min.
