It says recipe included—-good luck getting to it! Guess I’ll have to look somewhere else for it or fish through volumes of ads here before I find it.
    Disappointed

      Homemade Coconut Oil Toothpaste Recipe

      Ingredients
      6 tbsp coconut oil
      6 tbsp baking soda
15-20 drops of an essential oil (peppermint, eucalyptus or grapefruit taste great)
1 tsp stevia (Optional – or more if you like it sweeter)

      Directions
      1. Melt or slightly soften coconut oil.
      2. Mix in other ingredients and stir well.
      3. Put mixture into small glass jar (you can make different jars for each family member)
      4. If using completely melted coconut oil, you will need to stir several times while it cools.
      5. Let cool completely.
      6. Use a popsicle stick to dip into the toothpaste and spread evenly onto the toothbrush

Well finally got it–worth it, but whoever designs these websites could make it easier. I realize you have to sell your stuff, but wow! That was a tough one. You have to REALLY want the info. IMHO this is not the most effective way to advertise

I am not sure what bad things are in my tooth paste but I have been brushing my teeth for over 70 years and I am on no drugs at all so I think I will just keep using my regular tooth paste. I think people are getting a little silly these days. We are living longer than ever before

#3 “Fluoride is linked to causing tooth decay” are you kidding me?! Who ever wrote this I hope your teeth fall out of your head. Bacteria and the sugars we EAT cause tooth decay by producing a byproduct of acid. FLUORIDE makes the crystalline structure of enamel tighter and therefore harder to breach by acid and bacteria. Want to keep your teeth until you die? Use a fluoridated toothpaste. Okay with having dentures? Brush with this coconut oil toothpaste.

there are 2 types of fluoride.. but unfortunately, they put the bad one in toothpastes. but i’m sure that doesn’t matter to you.. keep on buying colgate 🙁

#3… Is the biggest load of bull. Fluoride protects teeth, it does not cause decay. Bacteria cause decay. Please use a fluoridated toothpaste!

  38. Just remember to spit out your coconut oil toothpaste in the garbage and not down your sink. It will harden and clog your pipes.

This is ironically amusing as a SriLankan. .we love our coconut oil. In fact it was our staple oil followed closely by gingelly oil. Then came the oil giants: soya, sunflower, vegetable, canola etc. ..and coconut oil was supposedly ‘unhealthy’…grrrr. Now some manufacturer is making us brush teeth with the stuff…dear, dear,,…what next ?????
