It does clog up your sink!! And in my opinion doesn’t work well as toothpaste. Think about it: your toothbrush gets all greasy and soft. You need a bit of abrasion to brush your teeth. Didn’t work for me.

Natalie, I don’t measure! It all depends on the size of your container. Majority coconut oil, stir in 1T. or so of baking soda, 1t. of sea salt and 1 T. of diatomaceous earth, if you have it. Be sure Not to spit oil into sink or toilet!

Just like ANYTHING you use, some people will have adverse reactions to it, doesn’t mean as a WHOLE that using something like this isn’t better for MOST people.

Anyone else experience an allergic reaction to coconut oil on just their lips? I can eat it or use it on any other skin, not my lips.

The American Cancer society is not going to tell you the small things that contribute to cancer.. It would hurt their pay checks… Cancer is not a disease, its a business…. Once everyone learns and understands that, we will see less cancer…..

Plus everyone is different. No one toothpaste works for everyone either so even though this recipe does just fine fighting cavities for me and my family doesn’t mean it will work for everyone else.

Usually a healthy diet gets rid of acid reflux. Or at least finding the diet causing trigger of the reflux. I honestly didn’t mean that to sound snide so I apologize if it did.
