Local producers is smartest route. Why they allow these inferior, tainted products on grocery shelves is deplorable. Self education is still the best defense.

Janice Scheffer your points maybe more valid without the name calling and foul language. You truly come off as a crazy, hateful person which from what I understand is the exact opposite of what a vegan should believe. All of your points are being dismissed due to execution.

Janice, I am a fourth generation bee keeper and own 3 Beez Honey Farm. The bees collect nectar and store it in a specific sac called the nectar sac. Completely different than their stomach sac. They store excess honey in their hives (called brood boxes) and when that’s full they put their excess honey in what is called “supers”. They produce an abundance of honey (if it’s a strong hive). That is what we take. They have plenty to live on and feed from.

Janice And if I didn’t care for them the varroa mite would kill them off!!! Then you wouldn’t have any vegetables to eat. You would then starve. The mites and insecticides are killing them off. If it wasn’t for beekeepers they would be going extinct very quickly.
