A common weed (purslane) that we just pull out or ignore may help us become healthy. Here’s how to prepare purslane. Check out the video we found at Healthy Definition.
Powerful anti-oxidant
Purslane is loaded with two types of betalain alkaloid pigments called yellow beta-xanthins and reddish beta-cyanis. Both of these pigments are stong anti-mutagens and antioxidants. This weed is also rich in vitamin C, vitamin B-complex including niacin, riboflavin and niacin, carotenoids and trace minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron.

so cool, I am growing one in a planter pot at my door, very attractive as a main attraction. *From a Landscape Designer; not a bad ground cover as a filler. Love the taste as well as just passin by and pickin a leaf or two. Coolness.
