I brush my teeth everyday with a mixture of coconut oil, baking soda, and peppermint essential oil. Then I brush with Crest to get that awful taste out of my mouth. 😉 My teeth are nice and white though

Sana Khann Yes you sure can use olive oil, that is the oil that was originally used for pulling. Just make sure it’s real olive oil

I’ve been using somewhat close to this recipe for over a year and I can’t believe what a difference it makes everyday :)!! Whiter teeth, fresher breath, no more pain, and cold/hot stuff I don’t have problems with anymore. And I’m a lots of sugar in my coffee person several times throughout the day. Love coconut oil!! Jan Marie, I don’t use the stevia in mine so maybe try that?.

I use peppermint oil in morning in it, clove oil at night. Clive cuts down on the saliva build up/tartar on your teeth.

  44. Folks, for those who oil pull or use this toothpaste – spit in paper towel and dispose of in garbage can unless you like paying for a plumber to fix your clogged pipes.

I make my own toothpaste but not with baking soda. My dentist and hygienist both said never to use baking soda. It’s too abrasive.
