Short term ok, but not long ten prevention. You do have to say be careful cause it could hurt your stomach. Id rather use raw acv though. Baking soda tastes more nasty than acv.

I’ve seen baking SODA in health food stores labeled aluminum free. So there is concern about aluminum in baking soda as well as baking POWDER.

Don’t use Arm & Hammer, it contains added aluminum. Many generic or off brands do not, save a bit and detox from aluminum!

Even good old Arm & Hammer, with their otherwise questionable products, does not contain aluminum. Bob’s Red Mill, for as much good as they’ve done, haven’t really done any of us a service by popping that aluminum-free label on their bicarbonate of soda. It’s only led to a whole lot of confusion.Mar 1, 2012

The method is very easy and safe. You just need to dissolve the recommended amount of baking soda in a glass of cold water and drink it. This is the method documented by the Arm & Hammer Company for colds and influenza back in 1925.
Day one: Take a total of six doses of half a teaspoon of baking soda in one cup of water. Take at two hour intervals.
Day two: Take a total of six doses of half a teaspoon of baking soda in one cup of water. Take at two hour intervals.
Day three: Take only two doses — one in the morning and another at night.
Continue taking one dose in the morning until illness is cured.
